Education: Bachelor of Arts in Music Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee
Experience: Therapeutic Activity and Recreational Program Development with staff training and supervision
- Working knowledge of music that has been important in the residents’ lives and the ability to apply this to our therapy programs
- Performance skills (piano, organ, guitar, autoharp, singing)
- Working knowledge of and experience in various functional and fun activities
- Volunteer development, training and recognition
Summary: I work in a very caring environment where I have the opportunity to use my skills to improve people’s lives. I am also blessed to have an amazing group of volunteers who give their time and talents to enrich the lives of those who reside here. Through our resident-centered activity programs, I encourage and support everyone here to make at Milwaukee Estates Living and Care Center their home. There’s a lot of living to do here!
